Last week I posted photos of Faith's 8 birthday party invites. So tiny and so cute. I found the idea for them over at Dandee. I saw her post where she had a tiny birthday party and I knew I had to have one for Faith. She wanted a sleepover of course, so I thought that we would do both! It has taken me a while to post these photos because I took over 200 pictures and it was hard to pick which ones to share. WARNING: Picture overload!
Here is what you saw when you first entered the door. A tiny bunting wreath...
Next we will move onto the table decor...Tiny party hats on small saucers and mini Oreos and Chocolate Chips Ahoy cookies in cupcake liners.
Here are some pictures of other decorations around the house...
Here is the birthday chandelier I made that was inspired by Holly at 504 Main. (go here for her tutorial) She used pages from a old book. You could also use double sided scrapbook paper. I decided to use vintage Little Golden Books that I found at an antique store. I chose this one for the colors I found inside.
On the menu:
Mini pizzas with mini pepperoni
Baby carrots with ranch dip
Mini oreos & mini chips Ahoy cookies
Mini waters & mini cans of Sprite
Small cake & mini cupcakes
Mini ice cream cones (made with caramel Bugles and vanilla ice cream scooped with a melon baller)
For breakfast: Mini donuts & mini pancakes
Next up....activities. The girls had relay races with mini gumballs on spoons. There was lots of playing outside, a dance party, painting nails, make-up, and watching "Tangled" and eating popcorn and of course, opening presents!
(Faith, Taylor, Bella, My Faith, Molly, Suzanne, Mary)
The gift bags....
Mini balloon, pen, comp. book, lollipop, nail polish and mini M&M's
The girls had such a blast! I actually had a ton of fun too. Bob had taken our other little ones to Grandma's for the night so I was able to focus all of my attention on Faith & her friends. This age is so wonderful because they are still sweet and there wasn't much drama. They all got along very well.
All the decorations were made by me. I used a paper pack that happened to be birthday themed. It also had letter punch outs and embellishments. The girls loved everything, but you know I did this for me! LOL!
