So, I made these dolls before Christmas.
It really wasn't that hard.
Especially if you have a Mom who knows how to sew well.
One night, a few weeks before couple of days before Christmas, I went to my Mom's house. I needed her just in case I got stuck. Ya know, cause I ain't never made no doll before. She helped me a few times and in one night I had all the parts sewn. All I had to do was go home and assemble and embellish them.
I used this tutorial. How to make a Black Apple doll.
I am pretty happy with how they turned out. I made some mistakes but you can't really tell. The girls sure did love them. You would have thought I told them that we were going to Disneyworld.
Here is Faith's doll.
I hand stitched their names on the body.
Here she is after I gave it to her on Christmas Eve.

Here is Annabel's doll.
{we mostly call her Annie though}

Here is Olivia's doll.
All three sistas.
If you have any sewing experience at all you could do this. The imperfections are what make them special anyway. They have held up well too. Olivia carries hers around by one leg. They ALL sleep with them every night.
It was worth every minute I lost sleep making them.
