I know Thanksgiving was a week ago but I must write about it because you know, if it's not on the blog, it didn't happen. Or something like that. Also, tomorrow is the first day of December and I would like to move on to Christmas stuff already.
Sickness, a birthday party, a sprained foot, painting, more sickness, friends staying with us, cooking an entire Thanksgiving meal for 10, and more sickness are just a few of the things that have been going on the past several weeks.
Thankfully, at least for know, it seems like the plague is leaving our household. Hopefully never to return. For some reason, it only hit me and Olivia. My poor baby. She seems to catch it all. It can't be because she licks the back of chairs at restaurants or continues to put her fingers in her mouth after touching every distgusting surface within her reach. Just kidding, it absolutely is because she does those things. Little germ magnet.
There is so much I want to say, but since it is late and I am tired, I shall bomb you with photos.
Hello tiny beaded turkey. I love you.
Ok, which nerd is thankful for school? Hehe.
He looks like he knows what he is doing.
Turns out he does know what he is doing. Mr. Fancy with his fancy deviled eggs.
Oh hey Mom and Faith. We are not too fancy for paper plates. Just sayin'.
Oh look, a turkey! Her name was Tina. Thank you Tina, you were tasty. I will not even go into the theatrics of how Heather and I stuffed her in a 5 gallon bucket in the fridge because the brining bag had failed us. Good times, right Heather?!
There is a word missing above. Oh well. Insert 'could' before the word actually. Ha!
These were Heather's amazing desserts. The cheesecake was to die for.
Thanksgiving was good. Spending it with friends this year was fun. The kids kept each other busy and I had my girl Heather to help me and spend time with. We miss you Rush family. I swear. AND don't think we won't drive all the way to Kansas to reclaim the title of Cranium champs. You got lucky. Twice. ;)
Goodbye November 2012.
Hello December. Christmastime is also my favorite. Don't tell Thanksgiving I said so.
