I thought I would share a few things that I worked on this past week. My mom asked me for some ideas for a bridal shower gift. She wanted something personal, so I suggested an apron with the bride-to-be's married name on it. You see, my mom and I have this deal. Custody of the embroidery machine stays with me as long as I complete any projects or gifts that she wants me to. I say it's a fair trade.
My mom said that she was thrilled with her gift. I was so glad to hear it. Saturday, I also had a shower to attend. A surprise baby shower. One of my best friends threw a sweet little baby shower for her sister who is about to give birth to her second baby. A baby boy named Liam. In my efforts to become someone who can say that "I can sew," I decided to make something handmade. Here is what I came up with. Embroidered burp cloths and onesies with little neck ties. To die for! These made me want a sweet little baby boy of my own :)

Also, I would appreciate some prayers. I am having a somewhat of an unusual pain in my chest. Whatever I eat is felt all the way down my throat and chest. It's not throat pain, but a soreness way down deep. It makes it very hard to eat. I am not sure how to explain it, but it is bothering me to the point where it is all I can think about. I will be calling my doctor in the morning, but I thought that I would ask for prayers anyway. Thank you my friends. You are the best.
