Potty Training....Update

Look at that sweet face. Don't let her looks fool you. They are quite deceiving. Don't get me wrong, she is sweet, but stubborn most of the time. All that said, I have to say that potty training "King Kong Annie" has not been all that difficult. There have been a few accidents, but overall it has been quite a success. The last two days have been accident free! She still must wear a pull-up at night, but I can handle that. Good Job Annabel June'bug'. Mommy and Daddy are so proud of you!

This is our first full week of school. So far, Faith is loving it! She looks forward to going everyday. This is going to be a great year, very busy, but thats ok. Today, we signed her up for her ballet and acro classes. She also had Girl Scouts tonight. Between all of those activities we will stay busy, but she loves it. As long as she is happy and not to overwhelmed it will be okay. I was joking on Facebook today about how having three girls are going to make us go broke! A friend so graciously pointed out that we will have to pay for 6 proms, 3 weddings, etc...and that we are not going to get off cheap! Truer words have never been spoken. Pray for us! Just kidding. We are thrilled and couldn't be happier!

Potty Training Day 1

Ok, so hopefully this is our last first day of potty training. Today, Annie informed me that her diapers(pull-ups) hurt her and she did not want to wear them anymore. Really? Thats all it took. Geez! I would have bought a smaller size months ago if I had known that. For some reason I have been feeling a little pressure to get that girl potty trained. Maybe its because all of her little friends are and have been for months or maybe its the new baby thats coming. I just kept telling myself that when she is ready it will happen. I mean for goodness sake, she is still a few months away from even turning three. So, why the guilt and embarrassment? There I said it. I let what others are doing effect me. Its hard not to sometimes. You feel like there must be something wrong with you. Everyone else can get their kid trained, but why can't I? Well, hopefully those feelings will become a distant memory because today was a successful day. She only had one accident and that was  because Daddy stopped at Farm & Home and we stayed in the car. Oh well. Despite that one, she really did great! God willing, tomorrow and hopefully every day after that will be just as successful :)
