I don't know how many weeks it has been, but I am still loving this Instagram stuff. So much so that I forget that I have a nice camera. A camera that I want to get to know better. Well, maybe I should be cursing Instagram. Nope. I am too addicted. There are worse things.
I have been quiet in this space for the week because I haven't had much to say. Things are good though. Just the same. Summer stuff and bathroom headaches. Will this remodel ever end?! I swear, every time we go to install something there is a problem. Every time. It WILL get done. I am just impatient. Hubby hung the lights this week and I got all the trim painted. So I guess that's something.
Oh and I found this shelf a while back for the wall. I also have 2 super cute frames that match(in color) this shelf that I found at the antique shop. I am going to have mirrors put in them to go over the sinks.
Moving on. I know I am getting sick of hearing myself talk about this bathroom. So you must be too ;)
Monday we went swimming at my Dad's new pool. The girls loved having a pool all to themselves. It will be a familiar hangout this summer for sure.
The next day we had a play date at the riverfront fountains. The mom's group that I am a part of has planned a summer park tour and every Tuesday we visit a different park(if I can get us up and moving). This one is my fave so far. It has water and shade. Enough said.
(the water looks weak because it shoots out at different heights and times)
The next day was more swimming. My good friend invited us over. Thank you girl. You are so gracious. My girls had a blast!
Oh and let me do you a favor....do not try the Java Chillers at Sonic. They are so good, which is a very bad thing. Very bad. I have thought about them ever since.
Went to Madagascar 3. Cute movie. If you have seen it then you have this song in your head...Da da da da da da da da circus....da da da da da da da afro...circus afro circus afro..polka dot polka dot polka dot afro! Its driving me bonkers!
Some other random pics that were my favorite.....
This girl is quite the rascal. She is cute but can make some serious messes! I feel sorry for her sisters who have to share a room with her.
These are days....to remember. So fleeting. So sweet.
Girls can play with Legos too. Their daddy loves them just as much. It doesn't bother him one bit that he has all girls. Just so you know. :)
Lastly, we have a snap shot of my girl helping me fold the laundry. BE STILL MY LAUNDRY LOATHING HEART. What's that you say, you want to learn how to do laundry? Fine by me!
If only she really knew what she was aking for...hehe. Let's not tell her. M'kay? Thanks.
For real though. I am trying to be more intentional about teaching these sweeties a thing or two about a thing or two, ya know? I need help around here and I don't need a dishwasher anyway because I already have three in training. Right Mom??? Ok, seriously this time, I am super excited about getting to be the one who shows them how to do things like the laundry, and dishes, and cooking, and baking, and sewing/crafting. All the girly stuff or what is traditionally girly stuff. It shall be my legacy...or something like that :)
I hope your weekend is all that you hope it will be! I am off to Kentucky on Saturday until next Wednesday. A good friend invited my girls and I to head down with her and the kiddos to spend our birthday together and so she can visit her family(Jill is one of my 3 birthday buddies!). Also, Santa Claus, Indiana is about an hour from there so we are going to Holiday World. Pretty exciting stuff.
I hope we see Santy Claus ;)
