So I did better than I thought. Did not shed one tear. Surprising really, since all I can think about is how fast these precious girls are growing up and how I am powerless to stop it. I guess these big girl pills are finally working! Ok, I probably didn't cry because I yelled at Faith almost the entire way to camp. Sometimes she can act so ungrateful. Nothing gets me angry like an ungrateful spoiled child. Nothing. It sets me off into a rage. I can not help it.
After the drama we were able to get through registration and pick her counselor and roommates. She was able to pick her activities too. Canoeing, crafts and archery were among the ones she chose. After that we were off to see her cabin and meet her counselor. Can you believe the cabins were air conditioned??
The girl in the photo with Faith is Hailey. She is one of Faiths best friends who just recently move to Kansas :( This was their last good amount of time they were able to spend together before the move. I absolutely love and adore her mother so I know we will always keep in touch and visit. I will miss you so much Heather!!!
Anyway, two long and excruciating days pass and I am finally able to go and pick up my girl. She had a blast. In fact, I think she would rather just live there at camp! Faith cried all the way home because she was going to miss her beloved camp counselor Blakeley.
